Thom Browne’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection was unveiled in an unexpected setting—a refined dinner in New York’s West Village, a far cry from the typical runway spectacle. The intimate affair set the tone for a collection that felt both nostalgic and refreshingly forward-thinking. Browne took classic Americana—cashmere twin sets, madras plaid dresses, and dyed corduroy separates—and spun them with his signature quirk, delivering a lineup that was effortlessly polished yet rebellious. The 4-bar tracksuits, reworked in sleek nylon, added a dash of athletic edge to the otherwise relaxed, artisanal aesthetic.

Textures were at the heart of this collection, with fabrics that felt as rich as they looked—soft, luxurious cashmere, sturdy corduroy, and smooth nylon all made their mark. Browne played with familiar silhouettes, tweaking them just enough to keep things interesting—relaxed, oversized cuts with exaggerated proportions that felt effortlessly cool. The palette was understated yet striking, with muted greys, earthy neutrals, and deep navy letting the craftsmanship and fine details take centre stage.

Presented over an elegant dinner, Browne’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection was a stylish departure from the norm, showcasing a masterful blend of tradition and modernity. It’s Americana reimagined for a new era, where timeless design meets a playful twist, proving that even the most classic pieces can be full of surprises.
